Up Against the Ropes

    Every year Impact One takes a select group of kids out the the Outward Bound Ropes Course in North Omaha. The course is set up into segments from training to a 3 story high adrenaline pumping challenge. The kids are paired into groups. Then they are asked to do some individual rope challenges  that build self awareness. As they get closer to the other side of the course where the finish line is they are asked to start to work with other teammates where they depended on each other to cross and finish.     Chor Boogie with Imapact One Colaboration

      World famous graffiti artist/muralist Chor Boogie came to Omaha to spearhead a mural project with Impact One in conjunction with Kent Bellow Studios to make this master piece a reality.                     NorthStar Foundation: Community Garden Volunteer Day

                      Impact One, a gang intervention program for North Omaha youth, has volunteered workers through its summer jobs program;  mowing and trimming around the garden plots.
