Impact One Community Connection’s goal is to connect the people of the North Omaha community with available resources here and beyond. We focus on assisting at-risk youth and young adults, those who too often become the forgotten members of society. We provide gang intervention and prevention, employability training, job placement, re-entry assistance and referral services. We have ongoing relationships with our clients and we strive to provide constant support. We offer a hand up, not a hand out. We strive to empower the individuals we work with to take control of their lives and move towards positive change.
I am an Omaha native, born and raised in North Omaha. I have an affinity to this community and its residents. Throughout the years I have witnessed the North Omaha area move from a bustling tight-knit community to a community divided and broken. Increasing social issues, compounded by a shaky economy have weighed heavy on the families of our community. The lack of opportunity, available jobs and quality education has taken its toll on our community and we are working to address these issues. We know that members of the North Omaha community have been marginalized and we strive to empower community residents in efforts to correct this problem. Our staff is dedicated to rebuilding this community and we welcome you to join us.
