Prison Re-entry focuses on addressing the various issues individuals face when they are released from prison. These issues include housing, employment, financial support, spiritual/emotional support, family issues and transitioning back into society. We have established partnerships with various re-entry program providers within the community and we utilize their programs to help address many of these issues.
We have an internal re-entry program that includes participation in our Employability Program (specific job training) and resource referral service. We work with established re-entry programs and support groups such as “You Are Not Alone” – Ray Kyles, The Williams Prepared Place and “Support for Success” – Eastern Nebraska Community Partners (ENCAP). We believe one of the most important combatant of recidivism is preparing people with adequate resources.
